Epic

You know whow people blame the media for violence. Well I blame the media for epic love stories. You watch romance movies, love stories with great tragedies and it makes you start to wonder if you will ever have it. Something that hit me hard today is that we make our love epic. It is how to explain love, the only way.... EPIC. Love is a bitter sweet, it is giving your whole heart to someone with the knowledge that they may take it and crush it leaving you with only shattered pieces or can hold it close, and cherish it for the great thing that it is. When people think about true love they think about the love in fairy tales. The prince on a white horse sweeping you off your feet and giving you your hearts desire. You think that love is roses and diamond rings but its not. Love is soft kisses in the morning and talking after a long day apart. Love is fighting to have your say but in the end making up and moving forward. Love doesnt happen in one day, it happens over many. I am blessed to have found what many people spend a lifetime searching for. Lovers have problems, but its because of the problems that make love so great. It can endure anything, which is why its worth fighting for. Sure we have to grow, but growing together is what makes the journey worth it. Learning a few tricls along the way doesnt hurt either. :-) Maybe this is just babbeling. It IS 2:00 am. Signing off...........
